Presentation:

La inferencia bayesiana es una forma de hacer estadística que siempre trata las complejidades, incertidumbres y resultados de los problemas objeto de su estudio en términos probabilísticos. La revolución computacional que ha supuesto los métodos de Monte Carlo basados en cadenas de Markov en el mundo bayesiano ha aumentado enormemente su utilidad y presencia en, prácticamente, todas las disciplinas científicas que basan una gran parte de su progreso e investigación en las conclusiones derivadas de la obtención y análisis de datos.

En este contexto, el curso que proponemos, Elementos básicos de la inferencia bayesiana, con 8 horas de teoría y 4 de prácticas mediante el entorno R cómo herramienta computacional, pretende acercar la estadística bayesiana a los investigadores, estadísticos o no, que deseen conocer y entender los elementos básicos de la metodología bayesiana.

Este es un curso diseñado desde una perspectiva fundamentalmente conceptual con el objetivo de entender, analizar y discutir los conceptos y herramientas bayesianas básicas. Por tanto, no sé puede esperar, en absoluto, ni una tournée exhaustiva por los métodos bayesianos ni un compendio de recetas sobre tol-el-que-vostè-necessita-saber-de-l'estadística-bayesiana-en-només-12-hores.

The course: Elementos básicos de la inferencia bayesiana is aimed at both professional statisticians and academics who want to delve into the applications of this technique, as researchers in any field of knowledge who wish enter to the statistical methodology of this type of analysis.

Is essential that participants have basic knowledge of the software R.
