En el Grupo de Evaluación de Determinantes de la Salud y Políticas Sanitarias y el área de bioestadística de la Universidad Internacional de Catalunya (UIC-Barcelona) necesita incorporar un/a profesor/a ayudante doctor a tiempo completo para impartir clase en grados y masters en ciencias de la salud. Se busca un/a profesor/a que pueda impartir clase de algunas de las siguientes materias: bioestadística aplicada en salud, algebra y cálculo, Machine Learning y Deep Learning, Bioinformática, Epidemiología avanzada, inferencia causal, etc.  
Además, el/la profesor/a se incorporará a una de las líneas de investigación del grupo de investigación. 

  • Doctorado
  • Se valorará positivamente acreditación por AQU y/o ANECA
  • Licenciado/a, diplomado/a o graduado/a en ciencias (estadística, matemáticas, física, ingeniería, ciencias biomédicas, etc.)
  • Experiencia docente en el área de conocimiento
  • Manejo de R para las prácticas y conocimiento de Python para las prácticas
  • Buen nivel de Inglés (nivel B2 o superior), Español y Catalán
  • Persona metódica, rigurosa, responsable, autónoma, con capacidad de adaptación y buena disposición para el trabajo en equipo

  • Participación en proyectos de investigación del grupo
  • Colaborar en el diseño de estudios epidemiológicos
  • Posibilidad de desarrollar línea de investigación propia

Salari brut (anual):

El salario variará entre 25.000€ y 34.000€ .

Group of Statistics at Humboldt University of Berlin


Opportunities for own scientific qualification (PhD)/career development are provided, see for an overview and further links. The positions are to be filled at the earliest possible date and funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG) within the Emmy Noether programme.

  • an outstanding PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, or related field with specialisation in Statistics, Data Science or Mathematics;
  • a strong background in at least one of the following fields: computational methods, Bayesian statistics, variational inference, statistical learning, high-dimensional regression modelling, mathematical statistics;
  • a thorough mathematical understanding.
  • substantial experience in scientific programming with R, Matlab, Python, C/C++ or similar;
  • strong interest in developing novel statistical methodology and its applications in various fields such as economics or natural and life sciences;
  • a very good communication skills and team experience, proficiency of the written and spoken English language (German is not obligatory).
Se valorará:

to contribute to the research on mathematical and statistical aspects of Bayesian statistical learning approaches and novel methods towards high-dimensional distributional models. The research positions are associated with the Emmy Noether group Regression Models beyond the Mean – A Bayesian Approach to Machine Learning and working group of Applied Statistics at the School of Business and Economics at Humboldt-Universität Berlin.
