Lab-Chip Analysis

  • The Bioanalyzer uses the capillary electrophoresis to separate nucleic acids and determine their integrity (measurement of quality) and quantity.
  • It is a very sensitive method that requires just one microliter of sample. For this reason, it is highly recommended when we have a low quantity of sample, sample is very valuable or it has a low concentration.
  • Detection is based on the fluorescence emitted by the Agilent’s dyes, which intercalate within the nucleic acids.
