HRMAS (High Resolution Magic Angle Spinning) allows to perform high resolution NMR experiments at samples which are in an intermediate state between liquid and solid, so viscous or heterogeneous samples.
Application fields can be very different; materials science can study polymers, resins, gels, nanoparticles ... or, for example, in the field of biological samples is possible to analyze biopsies, tissues, cells, liposomes, plants, crops ...
